In this country, the speed limit below 10,000ft is 250kt, which is practically a 30kt zone for the powerful Legend turbine. But when the N3YZ takes to the air after a few seconds, you know that this is not going to be a Sunday stroll. Marc Rollier knows his plane and the air above us; it is an absolute privilege to take off into the Alps with the Turbine Legend.

The Eiger desfile, the air force approach to Axalp and the roll over the Jungfrau are just three of the highlights, but in reality every minute from takeoff to landing is an adventure. With this in mind, I am already sure that I will fly with Marc and his reliable turbine again and recommend this passenger flight to anyone who has the opportunity to sign up.

Many thanks to Marc Rollier and Samuel Kohler from Adventurebase GmbH - Flightbase.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience.
The pilot (Marc) explained everything perfectly right from the start, so that there were no more questions....
The sightseeing flight with the Turbine Legend was also the best I've flown on so far.

Highly recommended

Since I had already been able to do some flying lessons with Piper airplanes and Remox GX, but could not continue due to lack of time, I decided to do another flight. However, I wanted to fly with another airplane where you can fly flexibly and therefore also do aerobatics. As I was already familiar with the Flightbase website and had been on the Boeing 777 simulator and therefore already had a very good experience, I booked the flight for Turbine Legend and arranged a flight date. I then got the pilot from Flight Base and discussed the flight weather with him on the phone the day before and then made the final decision to fly on the day of the flight because the weather didn't look ideal but it was good enough to fly and enjoy it. The pilot was very friendly and I was able to talk to him openly and easily, which I generally really appreciate. The pilot was from Flightbase, which is designed to offer low-cost flights so that you can experience aerobatics up close with the Turbine Legend aircraft. It was one of the best flights I have been able to do so far, as I have never been able to fly above 6000ft, as the airplanes are not made for it and we flew at about 9000ft. It really gives you a completely different view and is even more wonderful than at 6000ft. I was able to discuss with the pilot before the briefing where we wanted to fly and where we were going to fly and then do the outside check and get a glimpse of the beautiful Turbine Legend aircraft. Shortly after take-off, I was able to take control of the aircraft and steer it using the joysticks. My pilot sat in the front and I sat in the back, but I didn't have a flight instrument in front of me with the so-called "Attitude Indicator" or "Altimeter", but the plane was very easy and precise to control. The roof is all glass and so you can see it very well and outside, which makes it easier to steer even when you are outside. The weather was also sunny and cloudy when we took off, at least at this altitude, but when you looked down you could see our wonderful earth in a completely different dimension, which I found breathtaking. In addition to the cruise flight, there were also some aerobatic flights afterwards, which I personally thought were great. I was able to feel the "G" forces, which was my favorite part of the flight, so I knew what it felt like. As there were different flying skills performed, it was a lot of fun. It was also the first time I flew in an airplane where you can do aerobatics and turn 360 degrees or 180 degrees. Being able to see the earth upside down during the flight was also wonderful. Since I booked video recording on the flight, I was also able to record the experience with the plane to keep as a memory. Gladly again!
