Frequently asked questions about flight simulation

None at all. Whether you are a complete beginner or a hobby pilot, you will receive a detailed introduction (briefing) from your instructor before the flight, who will tailor the level to your needs.

Yes! You sit in the captain's seat (left) and fly the plane yourself from takeoff to landing. The instructor sits next to you as co-pilot, providing assistance and taking over the radio or systems if necessary.

Some simulators have no minimum age requirement (but a minimum height requirement of approx. 145 cm, e.g. Boeing 777), while others have a fixed minimum age of 12 years. You can find the exact details on the respective product page. Important to know: The simulator is not a toy and requires sensitivity and an interest in flying.

We offer both fixed-base (non-motion) and full-motion simulators. This is noted in the respective offer title. A major advantage of fixed-base simulators is often the better visuals, as the technology (screen/projector) is not restricted by the limited space available on a motion platform.

Very! Our simulators are often 1:1 replicas. There are even cockpits that consist entirely of original parts from real aircraft (e.g., Boeing 737 Venyo). Every switch, every light, and the on-board computer work just like in a real jet. Professional pilots sometimes use these devices for training purposes.

Yes, of course! Depending on the simulator type, we have space for 2-4 spectators in the rear of the cockpit (on the jump seats). The exact number of accompanying persons allowed can be found on the respective product page.
