Very, very cool experience. Great, retired pilot who explained very well and clearly what to do. We flew from Zurich to Geneva and made a second landing in Geneva in poor visibility. A great experience.

My "Sangate prize" for a flight-pilot experience is a good 2 years old; however, the corona restrictions/precautionary measures made me (born 1935) hesitate to claim this prize until recently. So first of all, thank you for your booking.
The "briefing", "take-off, flight and landing" were simply perfect! I don't know how that could be topped. The "illusion" of the Zurich-Milan Alpine flight experience was so amazing that I (as an otherwise very reality-conscious "old hand") wondered for a brief moment how I and my companions would get to the far-flung terminal when we came to a standstill at the end of the Malpensa runway with a panoramic view of the wide Po Valley and the Mt. Blanc peaks on the horizon ;-). The small step just behind the pilot's seat then brought me back to "reality"!
Looking back, especially on the relatively demanding work in the take-off and landing phase (i.e. without autopilot), I would still have a few technical questions, for example regarding the determination/calculation of the distances to be observed. Determination/calculation of the "target flight path" to be maintained from take-off and before landing, for example, taking into account external influences (wind, noise restrictions, consumption optimization, etc.) and the (simulated) "actual flight path" (based on the aircraft-specific parameters and actions of the "pilot".
If you have a specialist who is interested in a brief exchange of information (by phone or e-mail), I would be interested in making contact. (possibly reciprocal).

A great experience - not only for the pilot, but also for me as a guest in the back seat. Although it didn't work right away the first time due to a technical glitch, we were made up for it all the more at the second attempt.
We got to know very nice and competent captains/instructors.
