The Antonov AN-2 was developed in the Soviet Union in 1947. Thanks to its powerful 1000 hp engine and good aerodynamics, it can take off and land over very short distances, which made it popular all over the world.

In addition, this extremely robust vintage airplane was used for a wide variety of purposes. The Antonov AN-2 was and still is used for various civilian and military purposes, such as supply flights to the Arctic or Siberia.

The vintage airplane sightseeing flight fleet consists of two aircraft, which are still equipped with the original seating. This gives the flight an absolute vintage airplane feeling. On both vintage airplane airplanes you have the opportunity to have the pilots explain the aircraft to you and even take a seat in the cockpit. The Antonov vintage airplane sightseeing flights usually take place from Birrfeld airfield and selected other locations during the summer months. For other locations, we will be happy to provide you with a non-binding offer.

Implementation

Various flights are operated during the summer months, which usually take off from Birrfeld airfield near Baden.

There is no fixed flight schedule. After registering, you will regularly receive an info mail with the planned flights, which you can then sign up for.

Choose a single seat on one of the vintage airplane sightseeing flights or give it as a gift voucher. For group events, you can hire the entire aircraft for yourself.

This flight is a privately operated flight within the meaning of the Swiss Aviation Ordinance SR 748.01 Ar. 100.

Locations

The Antonov flights usually take place from Birrfeld airfield.

Birrfeld airfield is located directly on the highway and is centrally located. Free parking, a nice restaurant with a view of the runway and a large children's playground are also available to round off your flying day.

The conditions were ideal for enjoying this day - 60 minutes - to the full. The weather, the adventure park for children, the plane and crew and the food were well worth the money. Thank you again for these 60 minutes. Even our grandchildren were so enthusiastic (6 +10 years young), landed - got out and wanted to take off again straight away.
My wife, who flew in an airplane for the first time in her life, was obviously thrilled. It brought back old memories for me.
