The Experience

Wednesday to Saturday, excluding public holidays

The A320 simulator flight takes place at the simulator center near Bern from Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.

The times given are pure flight times, the briefing of approx. 30 minutes is carried out beforehand and does not count as flight time. From 2 hours, a cross-country flight with the real procedures can also be carried out on request.

Up to 2 spectators can be taken on the simulator flight free of charge.

The scenery was impressive. Before the flight, I had tried to learn as much as possible about the Airbus 320 cockpit and the procedures with YouTube tutorials. So I wasn't completely lost in front of all the buttons. But then implementing the instructions from the trainer live was quite a challenge for me. I found the manual execution of the ILS approach particularly confusing. And my varifocals made it difficult for me to see and interpret the buttons above my head clearly. But we somehow managed it, and my 2 spectators found it exciting.
