After these first impressions, you will fly on to the Churfirsten mountains and Lake Walen. The rugged cliffs that drop steeply down to Lake Walen are breathtaking from this perspective. As you continue your flight towards Glarnerland, you will gain altitude and see the Glärnisch, the symbol of Glarnerland, up close. The impressions come thick and fast, but this helicopter tour of the Alps gets even better: the Tödi, the highest point in Glarnerland, awaits you. One moment you are at Lake Constance, the next you are in the icy glacier world, flying along the border between Glarnerland and Graubünden to the Vorab Glacier. After visiting Martinsloch, you will fly across the mountains back to Hoher Kasten in Appenzellerland. You will slowly descend towards St. Gallen Altenrhein or Sitterdorf airport, where your helicopter flight over the Alps will end and you will be a thousand impressions richer.
