A hot air balloon sunrise flight is the ultimate upgrade from a standard ride. While it's still dark, the balloon crew will set up the hot air balloon and launch into the night. You'll get a front-row seat to admire the sunrise, and not just once... By changing altitude, you can repeat the spectacle as many times as you like.

You'll find ideal conditions for this balloon ride in the Schaffhausen region, near the Rhine Falls. The pilot will decide the exact launch location shortly before the flight, depending on wind and weather conditions.

The sunrise trip available here is a special trip that starts in the dark, before sunrise. The sunrise is then experienced from the basket. Balloon rides with take-off at sunrise or shortly afterwards are available at many other locations at a lower price.

The Experience

May to August daily in good weather

The sunrise balloon flight takes place early in the morning from May to August. Depending on the fog situation, there may also be occasional flights in late summer and winter. Sunrise from its most beautiful side - in a hot-air balloon

The Schaffhausen am Rheinfall region is available for the start of the sunrise flight with take-off in the dark.

Other locations with take-off directly at or shortly after sunrise are available for the panoramic flight.

We decided on the balloon flight at short notice in view of the stable weather conditions and the clarifications and reservation went very smoothly and easily. On the day itself, everything was biccobello organized, worked wonderfully, we were welcomed nicely, well informed and had a peaceful flight and a lot to marvel at. The landing was just as easy and not at all bumpy. Aperitif included! Return to the starting point and everything went as planned. All-round successful and professional. I can only recommend :-)
