Soon after takeoff, you'll fly over the city of St. Gallen and then Appenzell. Passing Säntis, you'll cross the Toggenburg region towards Schänis. The Lake Walen Airplane Scenic Flight will amaze you with breathtaking views and stunning landscapes.

With fantastic views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten peaks, you'll eventually head over Sargans, along the Rhine Valley, and back towards Lake Constance, where your airplane scenic flight concludes.

Alpstein and Lake Walen

The sightseeing flight to Lake Walen starts at St.Gallen Altenrhein airfield. Click on the map for more information about the route and the sights along the way. The flight route can be adjusted slightly depending on the weather.

You can easily reach the airfield by car, free parking is available. If you arrive by bus, you can get off at the bus stop "Altenrhein Flugplatz" (approx. 10 minutes on foot).
