The starting point can be freely chosen in the Mittelland, Aarau, Jura, northern central Switzerland, Lake Zurich region, Basel, St. Gallen, Rhine Valley, eastern Switzerland Appenzell, Graubünden and Schaffhausen, provided a start is possible there. The Lucerne Vierwaldstättersee private cruise starts directly on the Allmend in the city of Lucerne. For the private Alpine flight, the balloon takes off in the Bernese Oberland or Graubünden.

Implementation

The launch site is freely selectable in the Central Plateau, Jura, Basel, Central Switzerland, the Lake Zurich region and Eastern Switzerland (if a launch is possible). In other places, such as western Switzerland, there is a choice of fixed starting regions. To fly over Lake Lucerne, the balloon flight starts at the Allmend in Lucerne. In the Bernese Oberland, Zweisimmen, St. Stephan, Saanen, Gstaad, Chateau D'Oex, Frutigen, Reichenbach, Interlaken and Unterseen are available, weather permitting. In the Graubünden region, the balloon takes off in the Rhine Valley from Lake Walen to Ilanz and in Prättigau. After landing, you will be taken back to your starting point. The private balloon flight takes about 5 to 7 hours from the meeting point to the return to the starting point.

Launch site of your choice

As long as the launch site is large enough, has no obstacles and is not close to any major airfields, you can choose your own launch site. If a launch is not possible, your pilot will suggest an alternative nearby.

The highlight, the Lucerne balloon flight over Lake Lucerne with a view of the Rigi, starts in the middle of the city of Lucerne on the Allmend. Or would you prefer to float high above the Rhine Falls?
