Location Mittelland Bern

Depending on the current wind conditions, the launch sites for the balloon flights are located around the Biel region, the city of Bern and for the panoramic flight from Jura to central Switzerland.

Possible launch sites include Moutier, Tavannes, Tramelan, Saignelegier, Delemont, Solothurn and Burgdorf. The pilot chooses the exact take-off location according to the current wind conditions and tries to take into account the place of residence of the various passengers. In the case of private balloon flights, the launch site can be chosen by the passenger, provided a launch is possible.
