The Airplane Flight taster flight itself will be a training flight, putting you straight into the 'captain's seat' where you'll perform your very first 'take-off' alongside an experienced flight instructor in the co-pilot's seat. Even during the flight, you'll be the one mainly flying and controlling the aircraft. After this high-flying experience, you'll feel solid ground under your feet again once you and your flight instructor have mastered the approach and landing.

With the 'Pilot for a Day' offer, you can choose a specific area of interest for the theory topics, and your flight instructor will focus more on that part. The theory topics include: Technical aircraft knowledge, air law, meteorology, flight performance, operational procedures, aerodynamics, radiotelephony, flight planning, human performance, navigation, and radio navigation.

The preflight briefing with the flight instructor was very informative and demonstrated the extensive preparation required for a flight. Weather conditions, loading/refueling the aircraft (in compliance with the stability conditions), destination airport and alternative airports, flight paths and much more was clearly explained. We then went through the checklists together.
The flight itself was extremely exciting. Controlling the aircraft, including a few practice turns, maintaining altitude and heading and also the effects of the wind made it a unique experience for me - in glorious weather, of course.
The flight instructor created a climate of trust with calm and care, so that I felt totally at ease during the entire flight. He answered all my questions, explained everything clearly and did a great job!
I can highly recommend it!

I was a little nervous at first, but from the moment I shook Mr. Sutter's hand, that feeling disappeared. I found the support very good, pleasant, and open. The program, including the briefing and the subsequent flight, was well organized and designed. It was an incredible experience to pilot a DA-40; I was pleasantly surprised by how much I was able to do myself! For me, this experience was incredible from start to finish! A memory I will treasure forever!
