The Zurich introductory Airplane Flight takes place at Buttwil airfield. It's easy to get to and offers the perfect conditions for your very own flight experience, where you get to fly a plane yourself.
After being welcomed to your Zurich introductory Airplane Flight, your flight instructor will give you all the important information you need for the flight during a briefing. Even if you've never been at the controls of an airplane before, that's totally fine – no prior experience is needed at all.

As in a large airliner, the take-off preparations are carried out according to a fixed pattern with the checklist. As soon as all the systems have been checked, you'll start your trial flight and take to the skies. You'll be surprised how much you can control the plane yourself and even land it with a little help from your instructor.

A super cool experience and the perfect introduction to flying!
The flight instructor was extremely friendly and took plenty of time to explain the plane, the most important procedures, and the technology behind it all in a way I could understand.
The absolute highlight, of course, was the flight itself. Being able to pilot the plane myself while in the air was incredibly impressive. That feeling of freedom—just being up in the air and deciding for yourself where to fly—is truly something special—as long as you follow the aviation rules, of course. ;)
For anyone interested in flying or who simply wants to experience for themselves what it feels like to pilot an airplane, I definitely recommend it!

An absolutely amazing experience with a calm and very experienced flight instructor. It’s just such a fascinating feeling to take off and be able to fly the plane in the air! The 45 minutes flew by… I highly recommend it!!

It was great! You got a thorough overview of the plane and flying. The staff was very friendly. The best part was that you got to fly a bit yourself and see what it's like.
My only comment is that it doesn't last 45 minutes—it's 45 minutes of "briefing" and explanation, followed by 45 minutes of flying. Other than that, it was fantastic.
