Grenchen, located right next to Solothurn, offers the ideal conditions for a helicopter trial flight. The flight takes off directly from Grenchen Airport. After a theoretical briefing by your flight instructor, you will enter the cockpit. You can then gradually try out various flight maneuvers. Your instructor can intervene and correct your actions at any time using the dual controls.

For the "Fly a helicopter yourself – Grenchen Mittelland" offer, a helicopter is available in Grenchen for you to fly yourself with your flight instructor: a Robinson R22 with a piston engine and two seats. The maximum body weight for the R22 is 95 kg.

Location trial flight Grenchen

Your Grenchen trial flight takes place in Grenchen.

After a short introduction, you can take the controls yourself and choose between the Robinson R22 or the Airbus H125 B3e.

The meeting point is easy to reach by car, as there are plenty of parking spaces. If you are traveling by bus, we recommend the bus stop "Grenchen Flughafen", which is located nearby.

It was really great. It was my second flight and I already had an idea of what to expect.
I think it's a shame that the communication went a bit wrong. Grenchen was on my voucher. When I got there, nobody knew about it. I was registered in Belp...
But the flight instructor who was there had no appointments and offered to take me on the flight.
I was pleased, because it wouldn't have been long enough to get to Bern. I would probably have had to arrange a new booking .

Trial flight Grenchen:
The support was very good. We felt comfortable from the very first minute. Roger gave us a warm welcome, offered us drinks and explained the functions, operation and flight characteristics of a helicopter using a model. He was always open to questions and also shared his experience.
When the pilot Rolf arrived on time for the agreed booking , he went into detail about the upcoming program and took away our initial nervousness.
The flight was simply fantastic. We were able to get to know the fantastic aircraft with various exercises during this half hour. It really makes you want more....!
All in all, a successful, impressive, interesting and adventurous event with addictive potential.
A BIG thank you to the whole crew for this unforgettable experience.
