Your helicopter trial flight in the Eastern Switzerland - St. Gallen region departs from St. Gallen Altenrhein airfield. You can choose from the largest range of trial flights in Switzerland, from inexpensive to exclusive. Choose your favorite helicopter that you would like to fly yourself. You can choose from the Robinson R22, R44, R66, EC130 and Bell 505. The R22 is the most widely used training helicopter in the world and is ideal for inexpensive helicopter taster flights. In the slightly larger R44, you can bring along an additional passenger who can marvel at your flying skills from the back seat. With the Bell 505 and EC130, you also have the opportunity to take your trial flight in a large turbine helicopter. You can bring up to five additional passengers with you.

Voucher / booking

With every helicopter trial flight in St. Gallen, you will receive a detailed theoretical briefing from your flight instructor before the flight. You can then fly the helicopter yourself at the twin controls and live out your dream of becoming a helicopter pilot.

Implementation

Monday to Saturday in good weather

In good weather, the trial flights take place daily from Monday to Saturday. As we do not have to organize other guests for the flight, registrations at short notice are usually possible.

All trial flights are also available as voucher to give as a gift. We are happy to help you decide which helicopter type is the right one. An individual field in Eastern Switzerland can also be selected for an additional charge.

Your helicopter trial flight in Eastern Switzerland takes place in St. Gallen Altenrhein. The flight then takes you to the Rhine Valley, Appenzellerland or Thurgau, depending on the customer's wishes, wind and weather.

The airfield is easy to reach by public transport (bus stop only about 10 minutes away) and parking spaces are available directly in front of the hangar.

I have never had such a professional, relaxed and yet very conscientious introduction to the helicopter and the flight characteristics of the R22. I was allowed to read out the checklist, whereupon the flight instructor explained and carried out
point by point. The flight was unforgettable, I was able to feel all the controls myself and at times operate them alone.
