Your helicopter trial flight in the Eastern Switzerland - St. Gallen region starts from St. Gallen Altenrhein Airfield. You'll find the largest selection of trial flights across Switzerland, from affordable to exclusive. Choose your favorite helicopter that you'd like to fly yourself. The Robinson R22, R44, R66, EC130, and Bell 505 are available for you to choose from. The R22 is the most widely used training helicopter worldwide and is ideal for affordable helicopter trial flights. In the slightly larger R44, you can bring an additional passenger who can admire your flying skills from the back seat. With the Bell 505 and EC130, you also have the option to take your trial flight in a large turbine helicopter. Here you can bring up to five additional passengers.

Voucher / booking

With every helicopter trial flight in St. Gallen, you will receive a detailed theoretical briefing from your flight instructor before the flight. You can then fly the helicopter yourself at the twin controls and live out your dream of becoming a helicopter pilot.

The Experience

Monday to Saturday in good weather

In good weather, the trial flights take place daily from Monday to Saturday. As we do not have to organize other guests for the flight, registrations at short notice are usually possible.

All trial flights are also available as voucher to give as a gift. We are happy to help you decide which helicopter type is the right one. An individual field in Eastern Switzerland can also be selected for an additional charge.

It was a wonderful experience. Pascal gave me excellent instruction, and I got to fly the helicopter “on my own” for quite a while. I’ll remember this day for a long time, and now I’d like to take a trial flight with Pascal in a larger helicopter as well.
