After an impressive flight over the Alpstein region, the flight continues to Lake Walen with its Churfirsten mountains. Depending on the weather, the route may vary slightly.

Location helicopter flight Walensee


The Walensee helicopter tour departs from St. Gallen Altenrhein or Sitterdorf. From there, you will fly around the Churfirsten and Säntis mountains along the Rhine Valley to the Hoher Kasten with views of the Appenzell region. The flight route may vary slightly.

I was able to enjoy a one-hour sightseeing flight from Altenrhein on Sunday 16.10.16. Through the Rhine Valley, past the Hoher Kasten, over the Churfirsten over the Walensee, into the Glarnerland, past the Martinsloch and on the way back very close to the Säntis. Many thanks to our pilot Yves !!!

The fog on Sunday morning almost prevented us from taking off. BUT luckily only almost! The visibility above the fog was fantastic. It was a wonderful experience!!! Thank you!
