Hello Flightbase team,
My first balloon flight took place exactly one week ago. It was a wonderful experience and so exciting. I think it lived up to my expectations, although I'm not really sure what they were. To see the world from above and enjoy it in peace and quiet. There was certainly a bit of fear or insecurity involved. I enjoyed every single second up there. It was wonderful. We floated silently between heaven and earth. The fear quickly disappeared to give way to joy, enthusiasm and excitement.
The "setting up" of the balloon slowly built up the tension. By the time the landing was perfect and the balloon was stowed away again, it was all over again. Time literally flew by. Far too quickly.
It was my first but definitely not my last balloon flight. It was so beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed the balloon flight. Despite the long wait for permission to take off, we found the "flight team" to be very pleasant. We felt very safe during the whole flight. You can see the experience and professionalism behind it. The weather was fantastic and the visibility was perfect. It almost couldn't have been better! We flew a long way and enjoyed it very much, thank you very much!

It was a wonderful experience
It was also an experience to see how much effort a balloon needs to be prepared for deployment and transportation. It was also very interesting to find the currents in the air and the possibility of turning the balloon.

Mr. MArcel Wittwer Sulgen is a very experienced and cautious pilot. The flight was scheduled for Thursday evening and the gusts caused him to cancel the flight. After half an hour, when it was already late, he made a small hop close to the ground to Sulgen. We could already feel the wind, but we landed safely. Instead, he invited us back for the official flight on Saturday morning and we were able to enjoy the Alps and much more in a very light wind. Wonderful. You feel like the Grand Duke on his balcony, floating along at an altitude of 1200 meters.
