Following the Finsteraarhorn and the mighty ice flow of the Aletsch Glacier, you fly over the Valais in the direction of the Matterhorn. The unmistakable summit of the Matterhorn is visible from afar. As the pilot steers the plane past the Matterhorn, you can even make out mountaineers climbing up the Hörnligrat towards the summit. After these impressions, you set course for the Petersgrat. The pilot inspects the landing site in a wide turn and then gently touches the plane down on the glacier.
