On a tandem paragliding flight in Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland, you’ll experience a unique view of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The flight takes off directly above Interlaken, usually from Beatenberg Amisbühl, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Brienz and Lake Thun from high above. You’ll land right in the heart of Interlaken on the promenade.

Thanks to its views of the mountains of the Bernese Oberland, Interlaken offers an extraordinary paragliding experience all year round. The city, known for its outdoor activities, is located in the heart of the Bernese Alps, surrounded by the emerald-green Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. You can also combine your paragliding passenger flight in Interlaken with rafting, a hike, or other highlights.

The meeting point in the city center is easily accessible by public transportation and car. The flight school bus will then take you up to Beatenberg, where your pilot will give you a brief introduction to the takeoff procedure. And off you go! After just a few steps, you’ll be soaring high above Interlaken like a bird.

Scenic Flight Over Interlaken

The classic with views of the lake and mountains

Flight offer Paragliding Interlaken

During your paragliding flight you can choose between a panoramic flight or thermal flight choose. The panoramic flight is our gliding flight, during which you glide from the take-off site to the landing site and spend around 15 minutes in the air. On the thermal flight, our longest tandem paragliding flight, the pilot will gain height through the thermals and extend the flight to around 30 to 45 minutes.

Are you traveling as a couple and would like to experience this adventure together? Then the DUO paragliding tandem flight is the right choice. This couple's flight with two paragliders, where you are in the air at the same time, can be booked as a panoramic flight or a thermal flight. The pilots can take beautiful photos and videos of the flight on request so that you can enjoy your paragliding experience for even longer. These can be booked directly with the tandem paragliding flight.

The day of the flight, August 3, 2926, was perfect, as were the equipment and, most notably, the excellent pilot (Yamina??).
However, I would like to note that we were surprised to have to pay the “group leader,” Dani, an additional SFR 30.00 for Leena Vanhala’s cable car ticket before the start of the trip at the lower station.
This was especially puzzling to me since I had read beforehand on the fare schedule posted for the cable car that a “round-trip fare” for an adult senior is 24.00 SFR; therefore, a one-way ticket for my wife should have been 12.00 SFR and not 30.00 as was demanded.

That was a truly amazing experience.

Professional service and support from start to finish. From the moment I was greeted until I said goodbye, I felt safe with Renato. Brief, clear instructions before takeoff and before landing. A long flight with great views. Just before landing, I almost needed a bag—and that was quickly provided, too. Luckily, I didn’t need it.

The pilot, Erwin Jörg, was very friendly. He told me a lot about paragliding and answered all my questions. Erwin has a great deal of experience in paragliding... he was actually there as a pioneer in the early days... an absolutely trustworthy tandem pilot.

Everything went very well except for the photos (that’s why only 4 stars instead of 5 ;-) Unfortunately, the memory card I brought for his GoPro camera was defective. I tried taking photos with my smartphone, but the results were unsatisfactory :-(

The flight experience was great! Perfect takeoff, cool glide, and a perfectly smooth landing. I highly recommend this event in Lenzerheide with pilot Erwin Jörg.
