We offer our tandem flights around Lake Walen all year round. You can either take off from the Walenstadtberg or from the Maschgenkamm in the Flums ski area, depending on the wind and weather. In the Walensee and Flumserberg region, you can choose between the panoramic flight the longer thermal flight and the top offer private pilot offer. The panoramic flight and thermal flight are also available as a DUO variant for two passengers to fly at the same time. With the steeply sloping Churfirsten mountains, Lake Walen offers one of the most spectacular backdrops for paragliding in Switzerland. Depending on the wind and the type of flight chosen, we take off in the Flumserberg area or at Schönhalden above Flums.

The meeting point is usually directly at the official landing site in Walenstadt or at the agreed-upon valley station of the mountain railway (Unterterzen or Flums). Your pilot will inform you of the exact meeting point the evening before.

The day of the flight, August 3, 2926, was perfect, as were the equipment and, most notably, the excellent pilot (Yamina??).
However, I would like to note that we were surprised to have to pay the “group leader,” Dani, an additional SFR 30.00 for Leena Vanhala’s cable car ticket before the start of the trip at the lower station.
This was especially puzzling to me since I had read beforehand on the fare schedule posted for the cable car that a “round-trip fare” for an adult senior is 24.00 SFR; therefore, a one-way ticket for my wife should have been 12.00 SFR and not 30.00 as was demanded.

That was a truly amazing experience.

Professional service and support from start to finish. From the moment I was greeted until I said goodbye, I felt safe with Renato. Brief, clear instructions before takeoff and before landing. A long flight with great views. Just before landing, I almost needed a bag—and that was quickly provided, too. Luckily, I didn’t need it.

The pilot, Erwin Jörg, was very friendly. He told me a lot about paragliding and answered all my questions. Erwin has a great deal of experience in paragliding... he was actually there as a pioneer in the early days... an absolutely trustworthy tandem pilot.

Everything went very well except for the photos (that’s why only 4 stars instead of 5 ;-) Unfortunately, the memory card I brought for his GoPro camera was defective. I tried taking photos with my smartphone, but the results were unsatisfactory :-(

The flight experience was great! Perfect takeoff, cool glide, and a perfectly smooth landing. I highly recommend this event in Lenzerheide with pilot Erwin Jörg.
