Panoramic flight

A classic for connoisseurs

    A gentle glide from the mountain down into the valley. Ideal for beginners and anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the view.
  • Duration:
    The flight usually lasts about 10 to 20 minutes (depending on the elevation difference and wind conditions).
  • Organized by:
    Available year-round. Every season has its own charm—from blooming spring to a winter wonderland.
  • Who is it for?
    Perfect for a first flight, for kids, or as a thoughtful gift.

Thermal flight

Longer & Higher

  • The Experience:
    Your pilot uses the updrafts (thermals) to climb higher. You’ll see the mountain peaks from above and have more time to enjoy the view!
  • Duration:
    Double the flying fun with a flight time of approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Organized by:
    Thermal season runs from April to September. Flights are often possible even in winter from high launch sites (e.g., Rigi, Pilatus).
  • Prerequisite:
    Perfect if you love flying and are looking for the full alpine experience.

Let's take off together

  • The Experience:
    You take off at the same time as two pilots and two paragliders. Choose between a scenic flight or a thermal flight.
  • Romance:
    Perfect for couples, friends, or parents with a child. A shared adventure is twice the fun.

    Panoramic views year-round / Thermal conditions typically from April to September (regional variations may apply).
  • Procedure:
    The pilots will coordinate the takeoff so that you are all in the air at roughly the same time.

Affordable tandem paragliding flights are available year-round at locations throughout Switzerland. Whether winter or summer, every season has its own charm.

Depending on what you arrange with your pilot, the meeting point is either at the landing site—from where you’ll take the mountain railway to the launch site—or directly at the launch site on the mountain.

Paragliding - frequently asked questions

There is no minimum age for passenger flights. Until the age of majority, we only require the consent of a parent or guardian. We have special small tandem gliders available so that our youngest guests can also experience the fascination of flying. Please let us know when you register if you are under 50 kg. The minimum age for paragliding trial lesson is 15 years.

Your pilot will be happy to let you take the controls in a quiet minute. If you are interested in paragliding, he will also be happy to answer your questions about equipment and training. With the paragliding trial lesson you fly a few meters above the ground and steer the paraglider yourself. Always with radio support from the instructor, of course.

Paragliding is not considered a high-risk sport and is covered by the UVG in Switzerland. It is statistically much less dangerous than driving a car or horse riding. Students from abroad and people who are not gainfully employed must have their accident insurance confirm that paragliding is included.

The Panorama Paragliding Tandem Flight costs CHF 180.-, excluding cable car. The cable car can be added as an option when booking with a voucher or purchased directly at the mountain railways on-site.

The flight altitude depends on the one hand on the take-off altitude and on the other hand on the thermal updrafts. When thermal flight the pilot tries to climb with the warm updrafts to get above the take-off altitude. On good days this can be up to 3,000 m above sea level. However, the passenger can of course say if they do not want to fly that high. Such an altitude also depends on the day and can only be reached in optimal conditions.
